The Perfect Way To Revise!

Hi,everyone! How has been your day been so far? Mine’s been well…productive if you think watching Youtube is. I think I’m kinda allowed to though because I’ve only got one bit of homework and it looks easy so I will just save that for the day before school starts. I don’t think you find me,talking about my homework, interesting.

Anyway, I get very worried about revision and I’ve seen a few of you getting stressed about it as well so I’ve decided to re-do my post ‘The Perfect Way To Revise!’ πŸ™‚

I hope this helps some of you guys and tell me any other revision tips!

  1. Sitting somewhere comfortable but suitable.Β

Sitting somewhere comfortable can make you more relaxed but make sure you have a nice steady surface where you will be able to write on or it will become really messy. I get even more annoyed with revising if my writing is hard to read. You also will find it easier to write your notes if you find a good surface like a table or leaning on a book. Why not sit outside when it’s sunny but make sure it isn’t windy! You don’t want to spend your time chasing around the garden trying to catch Β revision notes πŸ™‚

2. Be dressed

Don’t be in your pjs or your brain will tell you it’s time to relax. I learnt it in Psychology πŸ™‚ Get showered, brush your teeth and make sure you are wearing something nice as it makes you feel more confident.

3. Listen to music!

There’s some really good playlists on spotify which helps you revise. It’s also free to download. If you don’t have spotify, you can just get a playlist on you tube πŸ™‚

4. Use Quizlet

I use an app called Quizlet which helps me revise for tests and it’s very good way to remember facts. It’s free on the app store and it’s really easy to use.

5. Use different colour of pensΒ

I like to use different pens and highlighters to organise notes. You can get them really cheap at wikos and loads of other places.

6. Spray a scentΒ

I like to light a candle, the best is Orange, while pepping for a test. A study shows that the smell of oranges makes you less anxious at test times apparently.

7. Don’t wear a ponytail

Having your hair down is more comfortable and tight ponytails can sometimes give you headaches.

8. Gummy BearsΒ

Leave yourself a gummy bear trail while studying so whenever you read a bit of text, you can eat a gummy bear.

9.Β Pretend.Β

Pretend to write notes for another person.

10.Β Have a break.Β

Don’t tire yourself out. Make sure to have breaks and don’t get stressed!

I hope this helps you guys and please tell me what you think in the comments below πŸ™‚
