When I saw The 1975.

Hi,everyone! How are you all? If you’ve been looking at my tweets, you may have seen that I’ve been waiting for my new sim card for my new phone since Christmas Day and now, it’s getting slightly scary that I might not get it by tomorrow morning as I’m going away for a while to see some of my family. I’m keeping my fingers (and my toes) crossed though. I’ve scheduled a post and maybe two if I can write one before bed tonight for you guys while I’m away visiting family so I won’t be able to reply to comments until this weekend or maybe even Monday. Sorry 😦

I haven’t done much of an update to what I’ve been doing recently so I thought I would have a little chat with you guys.

Yesterday, I went for a walk along the most pebbly beach with Carlos who tried to push/carry me down but I started screaming with laughter so it looked like he was kidnapping me or something so he stopped, mawhahaha. We then went back to my house where we watched a movie which I hated because the actors just sang the whole way through but to be honest, I just slept it.

This winter break has consisted of seeing Carlos, eating, tweeting, revising, watching films and spending time with the fam.

Ahh but I did do one thing!!! I went to see THE 1975 and it was f**cking incredible must I say. If you don’t know who they are, you need to stop reading this post, google them, love them and trust me, you will adore them. They are so good, oh my lord.

I went to the concert with 3 of my friends: Middlebrook, Joanna (she was in my vlog which is the most cringey thing filmed ever but maybe I’ll do another one) and Smellie who must have been mentioned in a blog post before. We’ve all known each other since primary school so we are pretty close. Joanna’s dad gave us a lift so I sat in front with him and we discussed Bowie and Imagine Dragons, I feel like I get along with everyone’s parents (especially Elles mum, sometimes more than Elle).

After Joanna’s dad had dropped us off, we went to Pizza Hut where I brought every one nachos as a Christmas present. We ordered so much that we couldn’t eat all of it so we put our pizza in a box and took it with us.

However, when we got to the concert security check, I wasn’t allowed my pizza (which I find stupid to be honest) and so it went to a bin. All of us girls then went to get changed in our concert tops in the bathroom. I look like a giant compared to all of my other friends who are all very tiny so I’m not really a giant but an averaged height human being. We all got mediums but the other girls looked like they were wearing dresses.

We got into our little places in the concert where I was sat next to this couple who for some reason didn’t like The 1975 and just complained the whole way through but that didn’t stop me from screaming my lungs at every song and crying at how beautiful a person Matt Healy is.

I knew all the words of all the songs and it made me realise how sad I was.

When the concert ended, I was crying and so was Joanna and we just couldn’t speak because 1. we used all of our lungs to sing and 2. the show was breathtaking amazing.

Nothing really happened after the concert.

We went back to meet Joanna’s dad in his car where I Β nearly poked my eyes out in the car to take my contact lenses out.

It was such a beautiful night.

I used to know a girl called Joanna I think she was from somewhere in Bournemouth she moved school there a couple months ago we bonded over fan accounts for Nhc I wonder if it’s the same one πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜… and my dad would never let me go to a 1975 concert it’s taken months to persuade them to let me give my friend a spare ticket to a concert and me and her see it they agreed which I’m excited now we’ve gotta get her parents to agree πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

Aw it sounds like so much fun! I totally get you – my friends are tiny too!! I’m fairly tall, but not THAT tall, like normal tall sorta, but compared to my friends the gap is so huge aha, it looks so weird when we’re walking in a line! I’m glad you had fun. Happy new year! xxx

    Hi!
OMG! I SAW THE 1975 AS WELL!
I saw them at the O2 arena in London on 16th December and they were incredible!
I loved how Matty stopped a few times and just spoke about life and stuff that matters and should be spoken of more! And then the LGBT colours came up and I just burst out crying hahah! totally bought that jumper afterwards..

    A wonderful concert. Incredible!
